When should I consider restorative dentistry?

If you have chipped, broken, worn, decayed, or missing teeth, restorative dentistry can help return stability, comfort, and function. Treatments like dental crowns and implants are common solutions.

What’s the difference between a crown and an inlay/onlay?

Inlays and onlays cover only a portion of the tooth and are more conservative than full crowns. They’re ideal when damage is too extensive for a filling but doesn’t require a full crown.

Are same-day crowns as durable as traditional ones?

Yes. Our CEREC same-day crowns are milled from high-quality ceramic and are comparable in strength and longevity to traditional lab-made crowns.

Do you offer implant options for patients missing all their teeth?

We do. You may be a candidate for implant-supported dentures or implant overdentures, which provide more stability than conventional removable dentures.

Is restorative dentistry covered by insurance?

Most PPO plans offer partial coverage for restorative treatments. While we’re not in-network with any provider, Westlake Dental Arts accepts most PPO plans and offers financing through CareCredit.
